Rosa was born and raised in Bussum, Holland. She lived through the Second World War as a child. Once the war was over, the Swiss Red Cross came to Holland and arranged for many dutch children to go live with swiss families. Rosi was one of the lucky children headed to Switzerland. Once there, she made a very strong bond with her foster family and later on fell in love with Romeo, the cousin of her foster sister! She married Romeo and emigrated to Switzerland in 1959, living and raising a family. She is 78 years old.
